Beezos are a sub-species of Shy Guy that appear in Super Mario Bros. 2. Armed with tridents, Beezos will fly toward Mario or his friends to attack. There's always more than one in an area, and they won't stop attacking until Mario leaves their territory. To attack, Beezos fly down and move straight towards Mario's position. Since there is an endless supply of Beezos, don't bother throwing Vegetables or other objects to defeat them. Instead you can pick up one Beezo and throw it another one. In Super Mario Advance (Remake of Super Mario Bros. 2) you will earn a whopping 4000 points for just defeating one Beezo. Mario can't ride them; unless he can match their speed he'll just fall off. The two different colored Beezos.

They appear again as Shy Aways in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
