Battle Course 1 is the first battle course of Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It uses the background from Mario Circuit. It's form is a square, with walls and sand in the middle. It resembles Battle Course 4 of Super Mario Kart, but smaller.
Appearance in Mario Kart 7
Battle Course 1 reappears in Mario Kart 7 as a retro battle course. Rocky Wrenches have been added to the course and a small ramp at the center where the sand is. Also, it doesn't have the original background from the game where it came from. Rather, it has the same background as SNES Mario Circuit 2.
