The Turbo Tulip is a special type of flower that is found during the events of the game Yoshi's Story.

When a Yoshi attempts to eat only the head of the Turbo Tulip, the Yoshi is turned into an Yoshi Egg. While in that state, the player can use this form to get to other places. The player uses the Control stick to launch the Yoshi like a catapult; if the player releases the Control Stick, the Yoshi launches in a certain direction. There are limitations of using the form; the player cannot move the Egg during that time. During the form, the player has a limited time to use the form if possible. When the time is up, the Yoshi is back to its normal self. Additionally, the player can use a C Button to cancel the form and change the Yoshi back to normal also.

After eating the head of the flower; the flower's head grows back after it was eaten, just like a Power Flower. The Yoshi can use it much as the player can.
