Arctic Plunge is the first area of the Peach Kingdom. The level takes place underneath a body of ice which is mostly underwater. Donkey Kong had to swim to the end of the level. At the start of the level, Donkey Kong opened up a crack on the icy surface. Donkey Kong [[jump]]ed down and [[Helper Monkey]]s threw Donkey Kong to the bottom of the level. Donkey Kong swam further down and had to avoid contact with [[jellyfish]]. [[Squid]]s aided Donkey Kong by leaving behind [[bananas]]. A rolling reptile guarded a tunnel to the next area, impeding Donkey Kong's progress. Donkey Kong had to [[clap]] to stun the reptile then pull its tongue. In the next area, the ceiling was collapsing. Donkey swam to the right as fast as he could to avoid being crushed. Afterwards, Donkey Kong encountered a large fish. Donkey Kong hit the fish at its weak points and rode the fish to the exit of the underwater portion. At the end of the level, Donkey Kong rode the [[Animal Buddy]] [[Hoofer the Wildebeest]] along a straight path. Donkey Kong did not need to eat the giant Peach to advance to the next area.

Ancient Foundry is the second area of the Peach Kingdom. The level takes place in an abandoned metalworks factory. Ancient Foundry contained [[lava]] and fire bubbles which would cause Donkey Kong to lose beats if he came into contact with them. Donkey Kong used the lava to his advantage by using it to access unreachable areas. A dragon aided Donkey Kong by helping him cross a portion of the level. The [[Animal Buddy]] [[Helibird]] carried Donkey Kong higher up with a large [[Zinger]] chasing after them. A Helper Monkey threw Donkey Kong on to a dragon which proceeded to take him to the end of the level. An [[Army]] guarded the giant Peach. Donkey Kong defeated the Army by clapping and hitting it. After Donkey Kong ate the giant Peach he fought Torch Tusk or Bloat-Hog depending on the version.
