Family Basic is a microgame found in the Nintendo Classics folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! It is based on Family BASIC, software released for the Famicom that was bundled with a keyboard peripheral.

Gameplay[edit]

The objective of the game is to type the requested key on the Famicom keyboard. If the player does not press the key in time, they will lose the microgame.

  • 1st level difficulty: Only the numbers are visible, and the player must press the number shown onscreen.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Only the letters are visible, and the player must press the letter shown onscreen.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Both the letters and numbers are visible, and the player must press the letter or number shown onscreen.
