Talking Flower, Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Trottin' Piranha Plants[1] are variants of Piranha Plants in Super Mario Bros. Wonder that can walk along the ground similarly to Stalking Piranha Plants. They can also walk on ceilings. Some can be found coming in and out of Warp Pipes, behaving like normal Piranha Plants until the player gets close enough, at which point they fully come out and start walking around; others can be found already walking. They most prominently appear in the levels Piranha Plants on Parade in Pipe-Rock Plateau and The Semifinal Test Piranha Plant Reprise in the Special World, which include Wonder Effects in which they sing, as well as a Break Time! level in Fungi Mines named after them.

Trottin' Bone Piranha Plants[derived] appear in Fluff-Puff Peaks Palace.

Because of their specific anatomy of having no pipe attached to them, while consisting of legs and leaves for arms, they are similar to Petey Piranha and all his variations.

Profiles[edit]
