Racing the Spooky Speedster is the sole mission of Boo's Boneyard Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. The mission's objective is to race the Spooky Speedster in a rematch.
Mission[edit]
The player starts on a skull planet with a Warp Pipe that leads to a cave with the Spooky Speedster. Unlike with the last race, Mario has to be Boo Mario in order to race against the Spooky Speedster. By picking up the Boo Mushroom, the player is able to reach the Spooky Speedster and accept his race.
The race takes place throughout the entirety of the cave, which consists of crystal Boo Mario can phase through, fans that push him ahead, and springs that bump Mario to the side.
