Bonus level[edit]
Exclusively in the Nintendo Switch version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a bonus level that can be played after completing enough levels. This bonus level features several sand blocks that the player needs to crumble to reach some of the 1-Up Mushrooms located in the lower portions of the level. Like other bonus levels, the player needs to catch the flying key and bring it to the chest at the bottom of the level for more extra lives.
