Tucks are pudgy, hunched penguins that appear as common enemies in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port. They are the Snowmads' most common foot soldiers, comparable to Tiki Goons from Donkey Kong Country Returns. Tucks typically wear tightened green striped pants with a knotted rope around their waist. Their name comes from a shortening of "tuxedo", a type of formal suit that resembles the color of a penguin’s feathers.

The common variety of Tucks walks slowly from side to side. If the Kongs get in contact with a Tucks, it slaps them, causing them to lose a heart of their health. Tucks are among the weakest enemies in the game and can be defeated with any attack method, such as stomping, throwing barrels or explosives, or rolling. Tucks sometimes appear in groups, so the Kongs can jump on them in succession to potentially earn a Banana Coin.

There is a pantless variety of Tucks[1] that bounces on springy objects, such as elastic drapes and jelly blocks. They bounce in one place or back and forth between two spots, damaging the Kongs upon contact. Compared to other enemies, bouncing Tucks are rather uncommon in the game. A single bouncing Tucks can be found inside a windmill in the level Windmill Hills. More bouncing Tucks can be spotted in Jelly Jamboree. The different types of jelly blocks that appear in the level do not influence their jump height as they do with the Kongs. However, like the Kongs, bouncing Tucks are able to use blue jelly blocks to move certain mechanisms.
