He may also occasionally come down, slowing down for a moment and then rushing forwards at Wario. Wario can dodge this attack by making his vehicle jump. At the last of his remaining health, the car will break up and the scrap parts will fly at Wario, who must hit them back (no damage is dealt to the driver). After the final blow, Hot Rodrick is sent flying, and a few seconds later, is seen in the background, falling back to Earth.

Hot Roderick, Wario Land: Shake It!

Hot Roderick is the second boss in Wario Land: Shake It! Wario meets him in Wiggly Wilds, in the boss level called Hot Roderick Race. His name is a portmanteau of the term "hot rod," a car with a large engine, and "Roderick," a typical Germanic name.

Battle[edit]

In the beginning, Wario steps into a yellow Unibucket-like vehicle with a booster, and the battle starts. In battle, Hot Roderick will throw wrenches back at Wario, who must punch them via his vehicle's fist contraption, so the wrenches will hit Hot Roderick's engine. When the engine is down for a little time, Wario can hit Hot Roderick several times to cause damage. When his HP is down to half, he raises his car up and throws tires. Wario can still hit his motor, but must steer the direction of the vehicle to punch the tires to the engine. If the engine goes down again for a short time, Hot Roderick's car will first come down, so Wario can hit him. After his car breaks up, Hot Roderick runs across the ground with the steering wheel still in his grip. One punch is enough to defeat him, however. After the final blow, Hot Rodrick is sent flying, and a few seconds later, is seen in the background, falling back to Earth.
