Hare Raising is one of Orbulon's microgames in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. Its name is a pun on "hair-raising".

Tortoise & Hare, a minigame unlocked after beating Orbulon's stage, is based on this microgame.

Gameplay[edit]

The player is a turtle and must follow the seagull's commands by raising the appropriate flag when prompted. The Nunchuk controls the white flag and the Wii Remote controls the red flag (blue in the Korean version). If done right, the turtle smiles at the player and the game is won, but if not, the log beneath the turtle breaks, the turtle panics as it falls into the sea, and the player loses.

  • 1st level difficulty: One command.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Two commands. If successful, the log is replaced with a submarine.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Either one command and one false command, or two false commands. If successful, the log is replaced by an orca.
