(Added some talking flower quotes I noticed in the pax demo footage, its in the segment showcasing the secret flower propeller. I would add the secret flower propeller in the layout section of this page but I'm not sure how exactly I should do it)

The course takes place in a grassy field with trees, sleeping Goombas and pipes, some of which sprout water. The player starts in front of a large Wonder Flower-shaped bush, with a Wow Bud nearby that summons Brick Blocks that lead on top of a tree with coins and flower coins. There is a green pipe with a Goomba on top of it that can be entered, releasing a Wow Bud that makes coins appear around a ? Block to the right that contains an Elephant Fruit, introducing the player to the power-up for the first time. By entering the pipe the other way, a Wow Bud releases coins around a nearby Hidden Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom. There are nearby fountains that allow the player to fill up their trunk while in Elephant form, with the first one after the ? Block featuring a Hidden Character Block visible to Mario that contains another Elephant Fruit. After going down some slopes whilst encountering some Goombas and dry Wow Buds, the player will reach a Checkpoint Flag, where they can go inside a sideways pipe immediately after to find a Wow Bud inside that releases some coins.

After touching an interactive tulip, several pipes will suddenly spawn from the ground, lifting the player into the air, and a Wonder Flower will appear. Touching a Wonder Flower will trigger the level's Wonder Effect, where all of the pipes will gain eyes and start moving up and down. A sideways pipe later on will also grow eyes when stepped on, and will start squirming along the ground like a worm, allowing the player to reach higher places when its body is folded. The squirming pipe will eventually slither down an abyss and its "head" will pop out in the foreground, which can be reached by entering the other end left in the main plane. A Wonder Seed can be found on top of a fountain, ending the Wonder Effect. After that is the Goal Pole, of which the top can be reached by passing an interactive tulip to raise some pipes. After grabbing the Goal Pole, the second Wonder Seed is obtained.
To the right is a Wow Bud that raises several pipes, with the course's Wonder Flower resting in the middle. Touching the Wonder Flower will cause the pipes to gain eyes and start moving up and down. A sideways pipe later on will grow eyes and begin squirming along the ground like a worm, helping the player to reach higher places when its body is folded. This pipe will eventually slither down a pit and its "head" will pop out in the foreground, which can be reached by entering the other end left in the main plane. A Wonder Seed can be found on top of the last fountain, and touching it ends the Wonder Effect. A nearby Wow Bud raises some pipes just before the Goal Pole that help the player reach its top.

While the Wonder Effect is inactive, the player can enter a green pipe next to the fountain after the set of pipes that leads to a sub-area with bodies of water, a Hidden Character Block visible to Yoshi against the left wall that contains a flower coin, some Brick Blocks, two ? Blocks with a Hidden Block near them that contains a 1-Up Mushroom, and Vines up high which can be reach by watering dry Wow Buds. The section with the Inchworm Pipe features a regular green pipe with ? Blocks and Brick Blocks above it, with the top one containing a Super Star, some Goombas, and two floating Wow Buds that make a ? Block appear.

Above the top of the hill near the Checkpoint Flag is a Hidden Block containing a Propeller Flower, taking the player to a platform of Cloud Blocks. Above is a Brick Block containing a Wow Bud that turns the Cloud Blocks into coins. By using the Add ! Blocks badge, there are some extra platforms to the right that end with a ! Block containing a Vine leading to a sub-area. This sub-area features a ! Block containing an Elephant Fruit, followed by Wow Buds that make more ! Blocks appear. There are also lots of coins and flower coins to collect here. By reaching the end, the player will land just before the Goal Pole.

Welcome to the Flower Kingdom! is the first course of Pipe-Rock Plateau, and subsequently, the first course of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is unlocked from the beginning of the game, and its completion unlocks Piranha Plants on Parade. It houses two Wonder Seeds and has a difficulty of one star.

Layout[edit]

10-flower coins[edit]

 • 10-flower coin 1: It is found underneath the ? Block with the first Elephant Fruit. The player should use the Elephant form's trunk to break the Brick Blocks enclosing it.
 • 10-flower coin 2: It is found on top of a tree before an incline. It can be reached by jumping on top of it.
 • 10-flower coin 3: During the Wonder Effect, the player should jump off the Inchworm Pipe when it's at its highest to reach the 10-flower coin which is otherwise too high to reach.
