They resemble large, walking icicles with eyes, and can only hurt [[Wario]] if he jumps on their single sharp point. They are weak to Wario's [[punch]]es and can be used as stepping stones. If Wario stuns one and performs a [[Piledriver]] on it, the Icicle Mite embeds itself into the ground, where it remains as a step for Wario to climb up to higher ground. However, the effect is temporary, as the Icicle Mite will explode after fifteen seconds of being stuck in the ground.

Wario with two Icicle Mites
“There are places in the ice caves that are too high to jump to! In those areas, why not try to use the Icicle Mites somehow? It looks like their pointy heads might just stick right into the floor!”
Spriteling, Wario World

Icicle Mites are enemies in Wario World. They are encountered in Shivering Mountains. Icicle Mites are large, walking icicles with eyes. They damage Wario if he jumps on their sharp point. Icicle Mites are vulnerable to punches. An Icicle Mite embeds itself into the ground if it is stunned from a Piledriver, allowing Wario to stand on them and therefore reach higher areas, but only for fifteen seconds before they explode.
