Banana Punch is a Donkey Kong minigame in Mario Party 5. Its name is a pun on "Banana Bunch."
Banana Punch has the same setting as the other two Donkey Kong minigames, in a jungle with a tree house and a circus tent resembling Swanky's Sideshow in the background. During gameplay, Donkey Kong hangs from a vine and swings above the player characters while eating bananas.
Gameplay[edit]
The objective is for players to collect as many bananas within ten seconds by punching the most barrels. The barrels contain either a single banana worth one point, a large banana worth five points, or nothing. The minigame ends early if players break every barrel.
Controls[edit]
- – Move
- – Punch
In-game text[edit]
- Rules – "Break the barrels and collect as many bananas as you can."
- Advice – "Scoring: Small Bananas: 1 Point. Large Bananas: 5 Points."
