Players have to press the plunger at a certain time according to the [[Goomba]]. The player who plunges closer to the appropriate time wins, regardless of whether they go over the time limit. For example, if the Goomba tells both players "3 seconds," a player who plunges after 2.72 seconds (0.28 seconds ahead of time) would lose to an opponent who plunges after 3.14 seconds. If both times are the same distance to what the Goomba says or if neither player acts within 30 seconds, no bomb explodes and the game ends in a draw.

The player who counts closest to the time provided wins. If either both times are the same distance or no one hits the plunger, it is a draw.
