It is based on ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'', but with a more barren appearance and realistic graphics. Mushroomy Kingdom replicates the layout of [[World 1-1 (Super Mario Bros.)|World 1-1]] from ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]''. In ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'', an alternate version also replicates [[World 1-2 (Super Mario Bros.)|World 1-2]] from ''Super Mario Bros.'' Several {{iw|smashwiki|block}}s, pits and walls are placed along the way, though to facilitate gameplay, [[Goomba]]s, [[Koopa Troopa]]s, [[Piranha Plant]]s, [[Coin]]s, and World 1-2's [[Warp Zone]] are not retained, nor are the [[Warp Pipe]] entrances to bonus rooms and the [[Goal Pole|flagpole]] of World 1-2. Any blocks normally containing Coins and power-up items release {{iw|smashwiki|item}}s of the ''Super Smash Bros.'' series instead. [[Coin Block]]s can release up to three items. The vertical pipes were all shortened a little. In World 1-1, the [[Hidden Block]] was lowered by a block, the flagpole and [[fortress]] are in the background, and the flagpole does not stand on a [[Hard Block]]. In World 1-2, the [[Brick Block]]s on the ground after the pipes and at the end were changed to ground blocks.
'''Mushroomy Kingdom''' is a stage in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''. It is based on the original ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' [[World 1 (SMB)|World 1]], but has updated [[Wii]] graphics, rather than the typical 8-Bit graphics used in previous ''[[Super Smash Bros. (series)|Smash Bros.]]'' installments. Apparently, the level has aged over the many years, and has become nothing but a desert battlefield filled with ancient ruins. The stage is an almost exact replica of World 1-1 from ''Super Mario Bros.'', with the stage gently scrolling by. Due to this, players have to keep moving with the stage, as well as KO their opponents. There are many blocks, pits and walls to act as obstacles along the way. Other than this, there is no real danger, as the stage scrolls by slowly. Occasionally, when the stage is selected, it will load up as World 1-2 from ''Super Mario Bros.'', an underground level. The same conditions apply, only the stage appears differently.


Mushroomy Kingdom is not an exact replica of the original stage; for example, a [[Super Mushroom]] is seen coming out of the first question block. While it is not known whether the same thing comes out of the same block every time, the first block would always yield a coin. Also, the enemies appear to be missing, although Goombas and Koopa Troopas have appeared in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''.
The name indicates that this stage is a different perspective on the classic ''Super Mario Bros.'' than what was used for the previous [[Mushroom Kingdom (Super Smash Bros.)|Mushroom Kingdom]] stage in ''[[Super Smash Bros.]]'', which replicates the visuals from ''Super Mario Bros.'' more closely with a different layout and several gimmicks, and [[Mushroom Kingdom (Super Smash Bros. Melee)|the one]] in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Mushroomy Kingdom as World 1-1 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Mushroomy Kingdom is a stage from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, also returning in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is based on Super Mario Bros., but with a more barren appearance and realistic graphics. Mushroomy Kingdom replicates the layout of World 1-1 from Super Mario Bros.. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, an alternate version also replicates World 1-2 from Super Mario Bros. Several blocks, pits and walls are placed along the way, though to facilitate gameplay, Goombas, Koopa Troopas, Piranha Plants, Coins, and World 1-2's Warp Zone are not retained, nor are the Warp Pipe entrances to bonus rooms and the flagpole of World 1-2. Any blocks normally containing Coins and power-up items release items of the Super Smash Bros. series instead. Coin Blocks can release up to three items.
