Trial Stew is a unique item in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Super Paper Mario. If used, it lowers one's HP to one and FP to zero, but completely fills Star Power. Unlike other recipes, its in-game description is written sarcastically, describing it as "amazing" and its results "incredible," without noting that some of said effects are negative.
In Super Paper Mario, the Trial Stew reduces the player to one HP, but increases their point total by an amount equal the amount of HP lost times 100 (to a maximum of 99800 if the player has 999 HP before using it).
