A Garbage Block is an obstacle in the 1995 puzzle game, ''[[Tetris Attack]]''.  Depending on the side of the player, it will either be red or blue. The size of the block will be random, and if the block is bigger, it will make it harder for the opponent to win.

A Garbage Block

Garbage Blocks[1] are obstacles in the VS. modes in Tetris Attack. They resemble large rectangular rocks with a Thwomp-like face. They are colored either red or blue, depending on the side they originate from, and their size depends on how many panels have been cleared, so clearing more results in a larger Garbage Block. A Garbage Block can be cleared by panels nearby, turning the Garbage Block into regular panels, including the bottom row of any Garbage Blocks touching it.
