This rare mushroom is mostly found in the ''[[Mario Party]]'' series. It is used to make a [[Dice Block]] roll the opposite way. It can be recognized by its having a 180° turn arrow pattern on its cap. However, not much is known about the origin of this mushroom.

Reverse Mushroom

A Reverse Mushroom is an item in Mario Party 3. It looks like a 1-Up Mushroom but with a red U-turn symbol. The Reverse Mushroom allows the user or a selected opponent to move on the board in reverse when they next roll a Dice Block, though its effects can be canceled out by either a Mushroom, Golden Mushroom, Warp Block, or Magic Lamp. If the affected player reaches a fork in the path, they can optionally go forward in a different direction. Reverse Mushrooms cost 5 coins to buy at Baby Bowser's Joint. A Reverse Mushroom can have its effects combined with a Poison Mushroom. The Reverse Mushroom is Donkey Kong's favorite item.
