Fright Train Flight is the seventeenth course of Episode 3 in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name.
Layout[edit]
The level starts at the caboose of a train, with a Chargin' Chuck on the elevated platform. If startled, the Chargin' Chuck can fall down and attack the Mud Troopers below. Additionally, for each train car, Toadette can pull the Pull Switch to release the cable, stranding any enemies left behind on the car. The next train car is a storage area involving many Flaptors and some additional Mud Troopers. The train car after that contains an entire horde of Mud Troopers, which can be fended off by the Turnips in the nearby Pluck Patches. The final part of the stage is the locomotive itself, which contains Flaptors and additional Mud Troopers. Tapping the switch in the engine room reveals a 1-Up Mushroom, just like in Blizzard on the Star Express. The final stretch includes two more Flaptors and five more Mud Troopers before the Power Star.
Super Gems[edit]
Three Super Gems can be found throughout the level.
- Super Gem 1: At the elevated platform with the Chargin' Chuck, which is accessible via a ladder on the backside of the car.
- Super Gem 2: In the alcove on the second car, guarded by a single Flaptor and Mud Trooper.
- Super Gem 3: On top of an elevated platform accessible via ladder, but blocked off by Rock Blocks. To obtain it, Toadette must lure the Chargin' Chuck from the start of the level to the Rock Blocks to break them.
Enemies[edit]
Pixel Toad[edit]
The Pixel Toad can be found at the front of the train inside of the chimney.
