Trio Moves[1] (Trio Actions in the British English version)[2] are the field moves in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. Most of these moves are invented by Paper Mario when the Mario Bros. are in a problematic situation (the only exception is Trio Grab, which is invented by Luigi, though the idea came from Paper Mario's rescue). There is a total of five moves, and they are all used (except for the Team Jump) when the player selects the appropriate icon (either by touching it or by using and ), then presses , , and in succession.
