The solo player, standing on a platform in the center of a lava-filled arena, attempts to eliminate the three other players by using the rotating flames to burn the other three players while the they avoid the incoming flames. The solo player has a few moves to attempt to trip up the team such as making a wave of fire that spreads out, mixing directions and rotating the flames. If the solo player burns all the other three players, the solo player wins, but if any of the three players survive for the entire time limit, they all win.

Revolving Fire is a 1-vs.-3 minigame found in Mario Party 5.

Introduction[edit]

The solo player, standing on a platform in the center of a lava-filled arena, ground-pounds it, followed by a quick zoom-out by the camera to reveal the rest of the arena. A wave of fire is produced, and the trio jumps over it before the rotating flames light up. The minigame then begins.

Gameplay[edit]

The solo player stands on the platform in the center and attempts to eliminate the team players by using the rotating flames to burn them, while the team must avoid the incoming flames. The solo player can change the direction of the flames and ground-pound to create waves of lava. The team players cannot jump over the flames. If a flame or lava wave touches a team player, they are eliminated. A team player is also eliminated if they fall into the lava. The solo player wins if they can eliminate the other three, while the team players win if at least one of them survives until time runs out.
