Shiny Paragoombas are a species of Paragoomba that appears in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. Shiny Paragoombas look like normal Paragoombas, except that they have gained a sheen to their body. They take half damage from all attacks, as well as having more health and dealing more damage than standard Paragoombas, similar to how shiny stickers compare to their standard counterparts. When Mario uses a Jump type Sticker or uses a First Strike and it still has HP left, it becomes a Shiny Goomba. Shiny Paragoombas also attempt to dodge Mario's hammer attacks by bobbing up from the hammer, though they cannot dodge Hurlhammer sticker attacks. Shiny Paragoombas appear in Snow Rise, Ice Flow, and Whiteout Valley.
