We know Nintendo is a Japanese company, but they do English dubs a lot. I know that polite and friendly are not the same thing and not similar, so does that mean I should change young cricket personality "friendly" to "polite", I mean in the Japanese website for Smooth Moves said that he is polite. Oh, well, truthfully, I've never actually played it myself either, I've only ever seen my cousin from out-of-state play it once or twice, but I kinda became obsessed with it for a while, cuz some of the dialogue is pretty funny...definitely check it out if you get a chance though. Also, I think the sequel comes out later this month...
