Wario has to travel through forest areas, water-filled tunnels and the pirate ship, and finally he must defeat Bobo, the guardian of the ship.

A secret exit can be found in chapter 2, story 4, which leads the player to the "Escape from the Tea Cup!" story in the Ruins at the Bottom of the sea chapter.
