Pelmanism Leaves are rare objects that appear in Paper Mario: The Origami King. They are leaves imprinted with different symbols on one side of them. Mario must hammer them to reveal the symbols, and if he matches a pair, he gets the prize depicted. If he matches incorrectly, they flip back over as a buzzer sounds. They appear in the Whispering Woods after pulling on a vine hanging from a tree and in the Spring of Jungle Mist, already lying on the ground. In the former area, the Whispering Trees will react as Mario plays the Pelmanism Leaf game. Pelmanism symbols also appear beneath tiles at Origami Castle.
