Peach in a Pinch (also referred to as Girls Episode 2 and Girls 2) is the second Girls episode in the Story Mode of the Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. This episode is unlocked after completing Morning in Hyde Park, and unlocks The Mysterious Thief upon its completion. This episode, along with the other Girls and Challengers episodes, must be completed to earn the Story Mode 2 badge, and its completion is also required to unlock the Story Mode Cleared badge.

Plot[edit]

Peach and Blaze are trying to defend three Toads from an overwhelming amount of imposters of them. The Toads panic and are unable to fight back, causing the purple Toad to collapse. The imposters surround the group, and two of them challenge Peach and Blaze to an Olympic Event. Peach and Blaze accept the challenge.

After beating the imposters, the Toads celebrate the victory until Peach and the Yellow Toad spot Daisy and Amy collapsed in the distance. The group approach them and wake them up, though Daisy and Amy are unsure how they got there, although Amy remembers being chased. The group are happy that they found them, and Blaze asks if they are alright, though the pair thinks that they are imposters. Blaze explains that they are not, and then Daisy and Amy tell them how they beat a pair of them in an Event, noting that they disappeared when defeated, but were then swarmed by them afterwards. The group then notices the imposters that they beat disappearing, though the group still do not know what to make of it. The Purple Toad then mentions that he thinks he saw a suspicious white bat lurking around. Blaze decides to try to find the bat, and the group heads off, followed by Daisy and Amy more hesitantly.
