5UP Mario, also called 5UP Super Mario, is a transformation in Super Mario-kun that does not change Mario physically, but rather quintuples his strength. It appears in chapter 10 of volume 2.

After the angered Wiggler tosses Mario into a bonus area, Mario gains five 1-Up Mushrooms from it, becoming 5UP Mario. Exiting from the area, Mario flies to Roy, bursts all of his bubbles, and knocks him out with the power of five fists.
