Damascus Gate
|boy=Eight great gates lead into the old city, this one to the north, is described as the most pretty.
|tourist=I was strolling down Nablus Road in the Arab zone and whoa, I saw that, it's the Gate of the Column.
|reporter=It once led to the road to Damascus…it is the most ornate of the eight other gates.
|scientist=Can you say crenelated? That stands 45 feet high and was built in the 1500s.
|officer=Finally, the Damascus Gate, now we can celebrate! How about a falafel?
Dome of the Rock
|boy=It's said it was once real gold, then replaced with 200 tons of lead, I'm told.
|tourist=It's the bubble atop of what belongs near the El Aqsa Mosque. Take your shoes off as the Muslims do.
|reporter=It's the dome from the "Mosque of Omar," but mosque is a "mask" here as it is not one at all.
|scientist=That golden dome rightly belongs in "The Old City" as it was built in 691.
|officer=It's the Dome from the Dome of the Rock, a holy place in Jerusalem. Some say it's the center of the world.
Dead Sea Scrolls
|boy=We're on a scroll…its roof mimics the lids of the clay jars where they found the famous Scrolls.
|tourist=That scroll belongs in West Jerusalem. I know, I was in the Israel Museum and saw it on a postcard.
|reporter=It's ancient paper and lives under the white porcelain roof. You're dead, see, if you don't replace it.
|scientist=Dare I breathe…it's the first copy of the Old Testament, scripted 100 B.C.!
|officer=That is the Dead Sea Scroll from The Shrine of the Book; take a look, it goes in the Israel Museum.
