Paper Scaredy Rats are a form of Scaredy Rats appearing as enemies in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. In the field, these Scaredy Rats wander their territory, but will run back and forth quickly when they spot an intruder. In battle, they attack by walking single-file into one of the Mario Bros. Jumping on one Paper Scaredy Rat results in the rest of the group running away in pursuit of a larger group. They can also attack by running in circles around one of the bros., which must be countered with a hammer to prevent them from running into the bro. Paper Scaredy Rats are found in the Twinsy Tropics Dungeon.
