The Mario Teaches Typing series is a duology of educational games in the Super Mario franchise developed by Interplay. The series teaches players how to type using a computer keyboard and consists of Mario Teaches Typing and Mario Teaches Typing 2.

Gameplay

Both of the games in the series consist of Mario going through many levels where typing helps him travel through them.

Mario Teaches Typing is the first installment in the Mario Teaches Typing series. Most of the gameplay consists of the player needing to type a sequence of keys in correspondence to what the computer screen displays.

Mario Teaches Typing 2 is the second and final installment in the Mario Teaches Typing series. The game is very similar to the first. However, there is a floating Mario head that talks to the player.
