This boss is a large, fire spurting, pulsing head made of solid iron, who enlists the help of huge stone hands in battle. Ironsider is one of two bosses that is impervious to Wario's punches, with the other being [[Red-Brief J]].

Ironsider has two attacks. The first one sends out multiple shockwaves towards Wario's way, much like other bosses. Ironsider's second attack is a fire breath attack. The boss will sweep the entire area with the flame. Even if Wario runs away, the flames move faster than Wario can run. The only way to avoid this attack is to [[Ground Pound]] and get stuck in the sand in the arena. The flames will then pass harmlessly overhead. Ironsider's hands cannot directly damage Wario. Instead, they opt to hold him in place to be punished by one of Ironsider's attacks. The player needs to shake the Control Stick to break free. Also, Ironsider's attacks will destroy the stone hands if they hit them.

The only way to hurt this boss is to beat up one of the hands, grab it, and fling it at Ironsider. Hitting the Ironsider five times will defeat the boss and give Wario access to the [[Sparkle Land]] boss, [[Captain Skull]].

Spriteling, Wario World

The Ironsider is a boss in Wario World. It is a large, pulsing lion-esque head made of solid iron that enlists the help of huge stone hands in battle. It is fought at the end of Pecan Sands, on an arena with a sandy floor surrounding nine stone squares. The Ironsider attacks by shooting multiple shockwaves or using a fire breath attack that covers the entire arena. The latter is avoidable only by performing a Ground Pound to become stuck in the sand, with the flames passing overhead harmlessly. The Ironsider grabs Wario with its hands to attack him, though wiggling the Control Stick frees Wario. The Ironsider's attacks destroy the stone hands if hit. The Ironsider takes damage from one of the hands being stunned, grabbed, and either thrown at or piledrived near the Ironsider. The Ironsider is defeated after five hits, allowing Wario to continue onward to the boss of Sparkle Land, Captain Skull.
