The object of the minigame is to obtain the highest score possible by lining up the slot wheels. Players must hit a block a total of eight times and wish for the best. The lining up can be either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. In the middle of the slot is a star, which is a wild card. This means the star can be anything. For example, if the player gets two of the same pictures above the star and below it, it will count as a full line up. If at the same time, diagonally, the player get two of the same, the star will be able to match both, even if they are different. The player with the most points at the end wins.

Lucky Lineup is a Battle minigame found in Mario Party 5.
