First, fire-breathing [[Mechakoopa]]s will appear. They need to be stomped, thrown, or avoided for sixty seconds. If they are breathing fire, they hurt the player if stomped, but they can be stomped if they are charging up. After this, [[Bowser]] sends three fire rings and the player must avoid them for thirty seconds. If successful, Bowser will fight the player himself.

When the orbs are heated up by his breath, they turns into spheres of light, and the player has to pick one up and hit Bowser's face with it. After Bowser is hit five times, he will be defeated.
