Time Bomb is a Duel minigame found in Space Land in Mario Party 2.

Gameplay[edit]

Players have to press the plunger at a certain time according to the Goomba, counted from the "Start!" announcement. The player who plunges closer to the appropriate time wins, regardless of whether they go over the time limit. For example, if the Goomba tells both players "3 seconds," a player who plunges after 2.72 seconds (0.28 seconds ahead of time) would lose to an opponent who plunges after 3.14 seconds. If both times are the same distance to what the Goomba says or if neither player acts within 30 seconds, no bomb explodes and the minigame ends in a draw.

Controls[edit]

  • A Button – Push plunger

In-game text[edit]

This is a time bomb duel! Wait just as long as Goomba tells you, then press the A Button Button. No timer is displayed, so you'll have to guess. Whoever is furthest from the actual time must watch his or her bomb explode!
