Schnautzels[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its port. These boar creatures are encountered in Windmill Hills and Horn Top Hop only. Their name is a pun mixing the German words Schnauze ("snout") and Schnitzel ("cutlet"), as well as the English word "snot". Schnautzels attack by shooting rows of six fireballs out of their nostrils. Schnautzels tread back and forth slowly between each attack while remaining focused on the Kongs, who can defeat a Schnautzel by either stomping or rolling into it three times, or by throwing a barrel at it.
