Bowser's Hammer Slammer is a Bowser minigame appearing in Mario Party 10.

Introduction[edit]

The members of Team Mario ride small, lever-operated carts on a circular track in a cave or mine. After a moment, Bowser is lifted into view on a circular elevator at the center of the track, carrying a large hammer. He slams the hammer in front of him, but the Team Mario players dodge by moving their carts to either side of him. After this, the minigame begins.

Gameplay[edit]

The objective of Team Mario is to avoid getting hit by Bowser's hammer, while Bowser's objective is to deplete his enemies' hearts with hammer attacks. A red Bowser emblem on the track denotes where Bowser can attack at any given time, and he can pivot himself to move his target around the track. In turn, the Team Mario players can tilt the lever on their carts to move left or right, though bumping into each other can stop their momentum, making it easier for Bowser to hit them. He can hit two players simultaneously. The minigame ends after 20 seconds or if Bowser has depleted all of Team Mario's hearts.
