Koopa Zappers[1] are obstacles in Mario Kart Wii. They are Koopa Shells with rotating electricity that appear in the underwater glass tunnel of Koopa Cape, though not in the course's reappearances in Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart Tour, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, where Cheep Cheeps occasionally swim around in the tunnel instead. Their electrical streams rotate around the tunnel, and if any racers come into contact with them, the racers slow down massively and shrink (as if they were hit by the Lightning item). Koopa Zappers function similarly to electric Fire Bars.
