Level 8-5+ (Level 6-5+ in the GBA version) is the fifth level of Twilight City Plus in Mario vs. Donkey Kong. The high score for this level is 18500.

Overview

The player will immediately activate the Mini-Mario upon starting the level. First, the player has to move to the left and activate the blue Color Switch when the Bob-omb above is on the red blocks and the Mini-Mario is behind the blue markings, then return to the blue blocks over the Bob-omb Blocks to pick up the Bob-omb. The player then has to toss the Bob-omb onto one of the side blocks, allowing it to blow up one of the Bob-omb Blocks within reach. Next, the player has to perform a Handstand Jump off of the top blue blocks to reach the above platform with the Bob-omb dispenser and a red Color Switch. After pressing the red Color Switch, the player has to climb down a ladder and fall into the open hole with the Mini-Mario, allowing them to unlock the door.

There is a Direction Switch on a high platform behind some Bob-omb Blocks, but it does not need to be used.
