Fight Cards is a 1-vs.-3 minigame from Mario Party 5. Its name refers to programs or itineraries of all boxing matches that are to happen during a boxing event.
Introduction[edit]
The solo player is shown waving to the crowd from the boxing ring, followed by the team of three doing the same.
Gameplay[edit]
The solo player has five chances to beat the team players by raising a sign that matches the signs the team players raise. If any team member's sign matches the solo player's, that team member is out for the rest of the minigame. When the Hammer Bro rings the bell once per round, a new round begins; if he rings the bell five times, the minigame ends. Play continues until the solo player knocks out all team members in this fashion, in which case the solo player wins, or until five rounds are up. If any team members are left after five rounds, the team wins.
This minigame does not have even chances. If all picks are random, the solo player has a 65% chance to win and is most likely to win in the third round.
Ending[edit]
The Hammer Bro rings the bell five times to signal the end of the game. Winners run to the front of the boxing ring and perform their winning poses, with losers performing their losing poses as a pyrotechnics display goes off.
