Flower Buds[1] are colored flower buds that appear in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. When interacted with, Flower Buds can have various effects on the level, such as releasing coins or a Wonder Flower, creating or modifying blocks or platforms, or making another Flower Bud appear. Their colors match the color of the Wonder Flowers of the world they are in.
Flower Buds can be found on the ground, in the air, or in the water, but they can also be held in blocks, in which case they will activate when the block is hit. Some Flower Buds are dried and must be watered with the aid of a water pot or the Elephant form before they can be interacted with.
