Before the ceremony can be fully completed, however, the heroes interrupt it yet again by accidentally destroying the castle. After this, Shisai is not seen for the rest of the film.

Shisai is an elderly bearded member of the Turtle Tribe who appears in the Japanese anime movie Super Mario Bros.: Peach-hime Kyūshutsu Dai Sakusen!.

The princess, however, refuses and confesses her longing for Mario, who arrives along with Luigi and Kibidango in a flying ship to stop the ceremony. King Koopa grabs the princess and orders his two Goomba minions to take care of the heroes while ordering Shisai to come with him in a private room and the princess to finish the wedding ceremony.
