Bombard King Bob-omb (Bombard Big Bob-omb in the British English version) is a boss minigame in Mario Party 9.
Introduction
The camera shows the front of the platform, where King Bob-omb is raised into the room.
Gameplay
The objective of the minigame is to defeat King golem by tossing normal golems at him. Small golems are worth one point, medium-sized ones are worth two, and big ones are worth three. Ending
Once King Bob-omb is defeated, he falls onto his back and explodes, revealing several Mini Stars in Party Mode and Solo Mode.

- Rules 1 – "Lob bombs at King Bob-omb! Bombs are thrown in order from left to right, and bigger bombs do more damage. Be careful: if two players or more select the same bomb, neither gets to throw it!"
- Rules 2 – "When there are only two players, King Bob-omb also gets to choose a bomb. If you choose the same bomb as he does, he'll steal it from you!"

Gallery

If two or more players pick the same bomb, they cannot attack.
King Bob-omb gets angry after he loses half of his health.
During the second half, those who fail to attack lose a point.
In a two-player match, King Bob-omb discards a random bomb, causing the player to be unable to attack.
