Bait 'n Wait is a Gaddget in Mario Party Advance. It can be obtained by completing the quest What's That Line?, a possible reference to the fishing rod that Lakitu, the host of the quest, uses. Bait 'n Wait can be used to activate a fishing minigame. The player has to catch fish swimming in a miniature lake. Once the player has tossed the bait in the lake, the fishing pole remains still. If the bobber sinks, it means that a fish has taken the bait. The player has to reel the fishing pole in to capture it.
