Wario finds a Treasure Chest in Pecan Sands.

Pecan Sands was a desert that Wario had to go through in Wario World. This was the last level in the game. There are many puzzles and payoffs, as well as some statues of what appear to be Bowser blowing sand. There are two areas, the outside desert, and the inside temple, where Ironsider is fought.

The enemies here are Mummy Magons, Club Mummies, Mummy Hawks, and Mummy Ankirons. SandWorm is also found here, as a mini-boss.

Area-Specific Enemies include Big Scorpers, Flying Spades, and Laser Jigglefish.

The impediment here is the Stone-Cold Statue.

All of Wario's Treasures here relate to Ancient Egypt.

Trivia

  • Its name likely comes from the famous Keebler snack "Pecan Sandies" which are shortbread cookies with pecan nuts in them.
