The Rare Fruit is an item found exclusively in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, and the second item collected during a series of item trades pertaining to a sidequest in Wakeport. Mario and Luigi are given this item from a blue Shelltop in the item shop in central-east Wakeport after they give him the Plush Zeekeeper.
Mario and Luigi must then head up the path leading north to the hotel district to give this item to a red Yoshi just outside the hotel room with Toads, who will thank them and give them a red Yoshi Egg in exchange.
