Bloatulas are purple spider creatures with slight resemblance to Antasma, appearing in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Bloatulas are encountered in the cave area underneath the bridge from Pi'illo Castle leading to Mushrise Park. They attack by swinging on a strand of web they attach to the top of the screen.

If the Bloatula breaks away from the string while swinging towards a bro, it will roll towards the bro it was swinging towards, who must jump over it to dodge. If the Bloatula snaps the string while swinging towards a bro, it will over-shoot and fly over the bro, who must simply idle to avoid it.

If the Bloatula breaks away from the string while swinging backwards away from the Bros., it will bounce off-screen and reappear behind the bro it was lined up with, who must jump to avoid it. If the Bloatula is spinning when it breaks away from the string while swinging away from the Bros., it will spin off-screen and re-appear behind the bro it was not lined up with, who instead must jump to avoid it.
