Klingers are climbing Kremlings that can scale ropes and chains, then slide down with ease. They first appeared in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. In the Donkey Kong Country 2 Player's Guide, it is told that the Klingers are the only Kremlings that can climb, and they had to learn it first, as Kremlings are not natural-born climbers.
Klingers also appear in Donkey Konga 2.
Klingers also have a slight resemblance to another type of Kremling called Re-Koils.
