Monchee[1] are Monkikki toys that appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong. They resemble cylindrical, almost barrel-like cymbal-banging monkey toys. Like their organic counterparts, Mario can grab and hold onto their tails, which usually hang below whatever platform a Monchee is pacing on. Riding a Monchee's tail can help Mario get across several obstacles such as spikes. However, unlike their predecessors, directly touching a Monchee from the side will cost Mario a life. There is also a more robotic-looking version that moves at a faster pace called Robokikki.
