- “Uh oh! Trouble! I can’t get out of here! I’ve been trapped inside a big bubble!! I’m in bubble trouble! That’s just a little joke of mine, heh heh!! How ‘bout it? Funny huh? You should write that one down!”
- —Wario, Wario Land 4
Bubble Wario is one of Wario's many transformations in the Wario Land series of games. To achieve this transformation, Wario must become trapped within a bubble by touching one when swimming underwater. Wario can then float upwards while avoiding the effects of a water current, which would otherwise force Wario to move in a certain direction. To return to his normal form, he must simply float high enough to reach the air above, or hit a horizontal barrier which will stop him from floating up any further.
Bubble Wario was also one of three Wario transformations appearing in Densetsu no Stafy 3, along with Flaming Wario and Puffy Wario in Wario's guest appearance in the Undersea Ruins.
